Hinckley Historical Society Annual Meeting

7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, in the meeting room of J & K’s Half-Moon, 120 W. Lincoln Ave.
The society will celebrate the completion of its museum repairs and hear a program by local historian Ron Klein on the changes he has witnessed in the community over the past 60 years. Public invited. The museum will reopen on June 30.

SANDWICH

Early Day Engine Club Show

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Sandwich Fairgrounds. The Early Day Engine Club will hold its annual antique tractor and machinery show. The event includes a flea market, food, farm toy show, tractor parade, raffles and displays of antique tractors, trucks, gas engines, and other machinery. Gate donation is $5 for ages 13 and older. Book Walk in the Park

10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Sandwich Public Library, 925 S. Main St. Program will be held at Memorial Park in Sandwich. No registration required. For ages 3 and older.

St. Paul’s Parish Fest

4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 340 W. Arnold St. After Mass at 4 p.m., a catered dinner of fried chicken, hot dogs, carnitas, side dishes and desserts will be served at 5 p.m., followed by face painting, balloons, games and a bounce house. Entertainment provided by Deena Norris of Rhinestone Music. Event includes raffles and 50/50 drawing. Everyone is welcome. For questions, call the parish office at 815-786-2185.

Stone Mill Museum Hours

1 to 4 p.m. Sundays at the Stone Mill Museum, 315 E. Railroad St. The museum is filled with is filled with local memorabilia, settings of rooms with antique furniture, farm tools and items that were manufactured locally. Members of the Sandwich Historical Society act as hosts, guiding visitors to areas of special interest. No admission, however donations are appreciated.

American Legion Fish Fries
