Indian Valley Theatre’s production of “Fools,” by Neil Simon and directed by Bradley Shortridge of Genoa, will open July 20.
Twenty-five hour days, flowers sold as fish (the fishermen’s bad day shouldn’t cause the vendor to suffer, should it?), a canary giving singing lessons, and milk sold right from the cow in the town’s square?
All of this and much more happens in the little town of Kulyenchikov, where the entire population has been afflicted with stupidity for two centuries.
Can the new teacher in town break this curse or will she be the curse’s next victim? Find out by attending Indian Valley Theatre’s performance of “Fools” at the historic Sandwich Opera House, 140 E. Railroad St. in Sandwich, at 7:30 p.m. July 20 and July 21 and 2 p.m. July 22.
Tickets cost $15 in advance or $18 at the door and can be purchased online at indianvalleytheatre.com or at the Box Office at the Opera House up until 30 minutes before showtime if seats are available.
