In Sandwich, Timber Creek Inn and Suites will host the town’s largest garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Kendall County Salute to Veterans

5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, 10826 State Route 71. The event will treat all veterans and active-duty military to a free steak dinner. The program will include a Wartime Sweethearts Review and a 1960s medley.
