Open Door benefit golf outing set for June 15

Open Door Rehabilitation Center is holding its 26th annual Golf Outing on Friday, June 15, at Bliss Creek Golf Club.

Play starts at 12:30 with a shotgun, best ball scramble, and all golfers are invited to participate. The day will feature free drinks, free range tokens and a steak dinner. Contests include a golf ball drop, lowest team score, straightest drive, closest to the pin and a hole-in-one with a grand prize.

Sponsorships are still available. Sponsors will be recognized in the Open Door newsletter, with signage on the course, in the banquet program, announced at the outing, and receive posts on the Open Door Facebook page and website.

All proceeds benefit programs and services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Donations enable clients to develop independence through job training, explore and grow through activities like art and cooking classes, and enjoy a quality life by attending special affairs such as musical and sporting events.

To sign up as a golfer or sponsor this event, call Kourtney at 815-786-8468, ext. 222, or visit www.odrc.org.
