Dinner includes a choice of three entrées (fish, chicken or beef), soup or salad, dinner rolls, vegetables, dessert and nonalcoholic drink. Cost is $20. A lower cost salad entrée can be purchased for $12. The speaker will be Timothy W. New Life for Old Bags

10:30 a.m. to noon the second Saturday of each month – next, May 12 – at the Plano Community Library, 15 W. North St. Volunteers turn discarded plastic shopping bags into plastic yarn to be crocheted into sleeping mats for the homeless. Donations of plastic bags can be left at the library. Community Garage Sale

Stone Mill Museum Hours

1 to 4 p.m. Sundays at the Stone Mill Museum, 315 E. Railroad St. The museum is filled with is filled with local memorabilia, settings of rooms with antique furniture, farm tools and items that were manufactured locally. Members of the Sandwich Historical Society act as hosts, guiding visitors to areas of special interest. No admission, however donations are appreciated.
