DeKalb County Retired Teachers’ Association

11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Oak Crest, 2944 Greenwood Acres Drive. The guest speaker will be Amanda Christensen, DeKalb County Superintendent. Fish Fry

4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 235 E. Lundy Lane. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $6 for children age 12 and younger. A fundraiser to help send the church’s high school youth to the National ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston this summer.

MILLBROOK

Annual Country Breakfast

7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Millbrook United Methodist Church, 8360 Fox River Drive. The all-you-can-eat meal will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and hash browns along with coffee and juice. A donation of $8 is requested. There will be bakery items for sale made by the women of the church.
