Church takes part in Shoebox Christmas

The United Methodist Church of Plano participated in this year’s Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Christmas. Congregation members wrapped 60 shoeboxes in Christmas paper and packed them with toys, clothing, school supplies and personal hygiene items. These boxes will be sent to children in underprivileged countries. Pictured are Missions Chairperson Gerri Henze, Sunday School teacher Clarence Holdiman, and Corwin and Braden who helped pack boxes. For more information about this project, check out samaritanspurse.org or call the United Methodist Church office at 630-552-3700.
