A recent mattress fundraiser was a win-win for Fox Valley Older Adult Services and many new mattress owners.

“This was a unique opportunity to test and purchase a great quality new mattress at a price lower than can be found in mattress stores, department stores or furniture stores,” said a news release from the agency. “With each new mattress purchased at the FVOAS mattress fundraiser, part of the profits were directed to FVOAS.”

Following the fundraiser, Essential Bed donated more than $10,000 to FVOAS.

“The success of this fundraiser was assured by the combination of extremely high quality and good priced merchandise complimented by helpful staff from Essential Bed,” said the news release.

Those interested in participating still can take advantage of the prices and selection by visiting the Essential Bed website and setting up a personal appointment. Essential Bed has agreed to continue to donate a portion of the proceeds to FVOAS.
