Leland student on to State Science Fair

Brandon Larson, an eighth-grader from Leland School, has advanced to the State Science Fair, which will be held at Northern Illinois University on May  6. Larson competed at the regional science fair with 300 other projects on March 25. His project, "How Does a Yeti Tumbler's Performance Compare to its Competitors?," involved testing how long ice would stay in each tumbler and compared that to the price of each tumbler.
