4-H youth attend state livestock event

Kendall County 4-H members Jessica Carlson of Plano, Lydia Oker of Sandwich and Zach Perkins of Millbrook participated in Barnyard Forensics Solves the Livestock Mystery, a livestock conference held for seventh- through ninth-graders on Feb. 11 and 12 in Champaign. This program provided leadership, team-building activities and hands-on opportunities built around the science and disciplines of livestock production and exhibition. This conference was hosted by the State 4-H Teen Livestock Ambassador Team, of which Perkins is a member.
