PLANO — The Family Focus After-School Program at Plano High School and East Aurora High School recently completed its fourth annual Spring Break Campus Crawl. This is an event in which the students enrolled in the after-school program have the chance to visit a different college each day during spring break.

The group went to the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind.; University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa; Illinois State University, Normal; and University of Wisconsin - Madison.

The students got to speak with college students, take walking tours, speak with admission counselors, get literature about the college and eat lunch in the school’s cafeteria with all of the college students.

The Plano students made a lot of new friends after spending the week with the East Aurora Family Focus students. The entire week’s events were paid with a donation from Caterpillar.
