Plano High awards PSAE accomplishments

PLANO – Plano Board of Education and Plano High School Administration recognized students for achievement on the 2012 Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) test given to grade 11 students in April of 2012.Students who performed above the 90th percentile on one or more subtest areas of the PSAE (reading, math and/or science) were recognized at an academic awards ceremony on Oct. 15 for their accomplishment. Students recognized were:

Davis Appel, math and science; Patrick Block, math and science; Austin Coffin, math;  Viridiana Favela, reading; Michael Gould, science; Tyler Hausler, science; Petrit Hoti, math; Nathan Lee, math; Darren Magnotti, math and science; Maxwell Morello, math; James Morgan, reading, math and science; Drew Petry, math; Wilfredo Resendez, science; Danielle Salmon, reading; Abigail Smith, science; Erik Tierney, reading, math and science; Antonio Uribe, science; Catherine Valentine, reading; and Emma Wallis, reading and science.

Students received a certificate of achievement presented by Plano High School Principal Eric Benson and Assistant Principals Laurel Mateyka and Keri Olejniczak. Pictures of the students may be viewed on the Plano School District website www.plano88.org.
