Resource Bank announces savings incentive for kids

SOMONAUK — Resource Bank would like to invite children and their parents in the Somonauk community to stop in during winter break with their saved coins to try out the restored 1920s Wayne gas pump turned coin counter that was featured on an episode of “American Restoration” earlier this year.

“We will treat the children to a new book when they count their coins, and when they open up a minor’s saving account, we will match their deposit up to the first $25,” said Richard Katz, president and CEO.

Open at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, the Somonauk branch at 605 E. Market St. is Resource Bank’s ninth location. More information can be found by calling 800-845-4122 or visiting www.ResourceBank.com. Resource Bank is a member FDIC.
