Sandwich grad wins scholarship

SANDWICH — Jacqueline Lorusso of Sandwich has been named as one of four Northern Illinois University 2012 Operating Staff Dependent Scholarship Recipients.

Lorusso earned a spot on the 2012 spring semester academic excellence list. This designation is given to NIU students by the Academic Advising Center.

Students must have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher; Lorusso achieved a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Lorusso is a 2011 graduate of Sandwich High School and is majoring in hospitality administration.
