YORKVILLE –  American Legion Riders, Post 489, Yorkville, will conduct its seventh annual poker run on Sunday, July 29. The run will start and end at the Legion hall, one mile east of the Illinois Route 47 and U.S. Route 34 intersection, on U.S. Route 34.

Sign in starts at 11 a.m., with the first bike out at noon. All types of motorcycles and vehicles are welcome to attend, rain or shine. Drivers pay $15, passengers $10, at the door.

Following the run, there will be food, door prizes and raffle prizes. Awards will be given for the best poker hands. After the awards are presented, there will be a proper American Flag disposal ceremony in the parking lot of the Legion. The American Legion Squadron will conduct the ceremony. Bring old flags for disposal.
