WEXFORD, Pa. – Grove City College sophomore Laurel Skorup of Sandwich was one of three spring sport athletes earning weekly honors from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference on Monday, March 26 in recognition of their performances the previous week.

Skorup broke the school record in the 3000 steeplechase at Wheeling Jesuit’s Bill Van Horne Invitational Saturday. She placed second overall and first among Division III participants with a time of 11 minutes, 52.28 seconds. Skorup also won the steeplechase March 20 at the Grove City Invitational in 12:38.94.
